お話する英語をディクテーションすることにより、聞き取りの力をつけよ

たが自分のディクテーションを投稿します。他の方はそのディクテーショ

I wonder how many of you out there know this song.
It's from 1962 and was recorded by the Drifters.
This is "Up on the Roof" on Tidbits in English.

* A Look at the Star
This all male  group was formed in 1953 and saw several changes in 
its members and lead vocalists. Of them Ben E. King was one.
They were based in New York and turned out hit after hit
between the years 1953 and 1966, including "Save the Last Dance for 
Me,"  "This Magic Moment," "On Broadway," and "Under the 
Boardwalk." "Up on the Roof" was released in 1962 and sold over a 
million copies. In 1988 the Drifters were inducted into the Rock 
and Roll Hall of Fame.

*I've Never Been To Me
by Charlene

We've received a lot of requests for today's tune by Charlene. Take 
a listen to "I've Never Been To Me." on Tidbits in English.
Let's now take a look at the lyrics from "I've Never Been To Me."  
You can find the Japanese translation in our textbook for this 
month.

Charlene was born in Hollywood, California in 1950.  She dropped 
out of high school and became a wife and mother at the age of 
sixteen.  She appeared on a TV show called "Miss Dreamgirl" in 1967.
 She began to sing for commercials and as a backup for other 
artists such as Petula Clark. After sending Berry Gordy of Motown 
Records an audition tape, she signed with the label in 1973.  She 
released "I've Never Been To Me." in 1977, and received little 
attention.  But after getting more and more airplay in 1982, it 
became a worldwide hit.

Let's now listen to today's tune by Charlene. This is "I've Never
